The Bite Club was created by the Goose Hummock tackle shop in Orleans, Massachusetts. The site is run and maintained as a service to its customers and recreational fisherman on Cape Cod.

The community is intended for Bluefin Tuna fisherman in the area of Cape Cod and the Islands (Nantucket and Marthas VIneyard). You should own a boat that is either at a Marina or mooring in this general area (or via trailer). The expectation is you will fish and share intelligence with the fellow members numerous times a year.

Members of the Bite Club are expected to participate! This means posting a fishing report after every trip, regardless of the outcome. Share where you were, what you saw, learned, water temperature, bait, whatever. Every little bit is valuable. Members are expected to be out on the water and posting reports a few times a month. This is not a community for people that fish one time a summer. Members who do not post at least a few times a year are subject to removal the following fishing season.

The value of this community is sharing information among dedicated, passionate Tuna fisherman. The information is not intended to be further disseminated.
